Operation Sandstorm is the 2nd mission of Modern Combat: Sandstorm, but the first in which actual combat occurs. In this level, Lieutenant Warrens and his squad are sent in to destroy a series of radio towers around an unidentified Middle Eastern city. This mission is extremely significant because it is the event that sets off the campaign for both the rest of the game, and those of every succeeding game as well, all the way through Modern Combat 5.
