Data Validation is the best method to carry out your command. Data Validation is able to prevent invalid data. We set a rule to reject invalid dates and numbers, such as greater than 1000 can’t be inputted into specified cells in spreadsheets. Data Validation control the type of data or the values that users enter into a cell. Example, you may want to restrict data entry to a certain range of dates, limit choices by using a list, or make sure that only positive whole numbers are entered.
